Peer Mentors

Peer Mentors are role models who are eager to share their experiences and knowledge to help incoming City Tech students adjust to college life. Peer Mentors develop leadership, presentation, and communication skills through their work — excellent for resumes and future career goals– as they work with new students in First Year Learning Communities (FYLC), the First Year Summer Program (FYSP), and English 1101 Co-requisite. Most importantly, Peer Mentors get to help new students and participate in meaningful work that truly makes a difference for so many. In addition to getting paid, Peer Mentors find that the job itself is very rewarding.
